This Eclipse also has several transpersonal planet connections to past Solar Eclipses. Uranus, Neptune, and Chiron in this one are the identical degrees as they occupied in the July Eclipse at 20 Cancer, and as could be expected, Pluto in this one is the same degree as Pluto in the June and July Solar Eclipses. Students may want to go back and check out what I said about all these named Eclipses to get a better understanding of what this one will trigger of those energies. Of course, besides these past echoes and the usual general effects, the Eclipse will also bring losses and endings where it falls in our individual birth charts.
In an example of how a loss can work to great benefit, if it conjuncts the Saturn in a birth chart, it can indicate the ending of old, lesser responsibilities, limitations, or fears, and open the being to a greater sense of purpose. If it conjuncts Jupiter, then it could show the ending of an old philosophy or belief system and open the gates to something far greater.
Given a Solar Eclipse is a New Moon, then like all lunations that work their influence over time, it's triggered by subsequent transits to those points. Thus we can assume we will see developments related to this Eclipse when Mercury goes stationary direct on Dec one degree away from this Eclipse degree.
As noted in a current Mercury retrograde article, we will also be getting echoes from when Jupiter was in Sagittarius, given the number of planets in Sag in this Eclipse chart. Other times we'll see developments related to this Eclipse will be when Mercury transits the Mercury and Venus in this chart during the first week of January Other Eclipse effects will be triggered during the entire second half of January , the first week of March and around the Vernal Equinox , the third week of April and the second week of May , and especially the second week of October, late October, the first two weeks of November , and mid-December Of course, remember that since this Eclipse will be in full force during all of , we can expect significant related developments when Jupiter makes significant aspects to any or all of the planets in this chart, since it rules the Eclipse.
In the next part of the series, we'll explore how this Eclipse will manifest and its astrological components, including which signs will be most affected over the next 4 years. The January eclipses can be found in the corresponding archives.

Interesting post. This Solar Eclipse will hit my MC, what does it mean? Posted by: Michele90 November 23, at AM. Posted by: Doris November 23, at PM. Posted by: Ivan November 24, at AM. I've reading your works for several months now My mother went to the hospital for emergency brain surgery, my relationship to her only sister reached a breaking pt home, finances, decisions and I took control of my own life, and my mom's POA.
I moved several times since then - got back to school - and will go forward best I can. What could I expect out of this shutdown? I have a marginal understanding, but a growing interest in these topics. Neptune seems the watery - dreamy - not a reality planet. But that's hard to assess. Any answer from you or anyone is a plus. Thanks - for giving. Hi Elizabeth - Yes, my articles are like my counseling sessions.
I have no idea where an Eclipse falls in a chart if I don't have the chart. But you could look at your chart if you have a copy, or just go on one of the free chart calculation sites and figure out where early Sag falls in your houses. If you go into the archives and see the degrees where past Eclipses fell, you can factor those in as well.
Hi Michael Tyler - Both. New Sag overriding old Sag growth pattern of greatest development. He sextiles Saturn and Pluto and trines Neptune 3 times during this period.

A favorable repeated mixture of consolidation, imagination and must needed changes. Mercury opposes Uranus on Oct 7th, an unsettling start. He enters his shadow on Oct 14th, sextiles Saturn Oct 14th, trines Neptune on Oct 15th and sextiles Pluto on Oct 19th, the day his apparent speed falls below a degree per day. Venus overtakes faltering Mercury on Oct 30th at 28 Scorpio. Mercury stations retrograde at this degree on Oct 31st, the supposed Brexit day, potentially a real cliff hanger and an inevitable about turn.
Mercury sextiles Pluto 2nd time on Nov 10th, transits the Sun at 19 Scorpio on Nov 11th, and then as a morning star, sextiles both Saturn and Pluto, for the 2nd time on Nov 13th, an immensely serious, sobering and penetrative day at the time of the Full Moon. Mercury stations direct on Nov 20th at 12 Scorpio, and for the final time, finally trines Neptune on Nov 28th, now back up to speed, finally sextiles Saturn on Nov 30th and finally sextiles Pluto on Dec 3rd.
Mercury leaves his shadow on Dec 8th, and leaves Scorpio for Sagittarius on Dec 9th. Quite a dance this one, looking forward to it. Venus and Mars are in Libra for just three days, before Venus moves on seeking deeper sensation.
Blocked energy. Up against fate. Testing days. Mars resides here for 46 days. The Mars in Libra period is indecisive. All alternatives are considered before action is taken. Motivation is social. Communication and artistic expression are to the fore. This is a tough residence this time. Mars squares Saturn on Oct 27th, which is akin to accelerating with the brakes on.

All serious, all purposeful, slightly somber Moon applies conjunct Saturn.
A day simply to work through but there is an underlying sense of trouble ahead, notably Mercury opposite Uranus and Sun square Saturn tomorrow. Midway between eclipse seasons. A jagged razor like 'blue blood' day. Sharp wits, cutting words, cruel intentions. Venus and Mars are also in Libra. Saturn and Pluto are in Capricorn. This is a visionary time. The motivation here is a need to move, to grow, to seek freedom, to expand and to 'open up'. Optimism, energy, forthrightness, faith in the future and expression of adventure are the hallmarks of the residence. With Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, Jupiter in Sagittarius adds wit and wonderment before the inevitable astrological maelstrom of when he joins the two heavy weights in the sign of the goat. Jupiter is all the time moving towards the union with Saturn and Pluto in the last decan of Capricorn.
Jupiter then moves on to conjunct Neptune at 24 degrees Pisces in This will be a 'mutation conjunction'.
